If you are just starting out on a journey to discover the natural world or want to broaden your existing knowledge about nature, my courses might help. They are all designed as introductions to the subject with the aim being to give you the skills you need to develop as a naturalist. Most of all, they are to enhance your enjoyment of the time you spend in nature.
To ensure you get the best experience from the course, I limit numbers, on all teaching events, to six participants.
ROOTS TO BRANCHES
A classroom and outdoor course to introduce you to the fascinating life of trees and help you identify them. The course covers:
The life of trees
Seasonal tree identification
A tree’s place in nature
A full structure and itinerary will be sent with the booking confirmation.
If you love birds, this is the course for you. Entirely field based, you will learn how to identify birds through general behaviour, plumage, structure and songs/calls.
The course also covers binocular and telescope use, choosing a bird guide and how to keep records.
The venues are chosen based on the season to take advantage of both resident and migrant birds.
Costs: £65.00/person/full day – contact me for details.
“Just a rather belated thank you for taking Paddy and I around Titchwell Bird Reserve the other Monday. It was a fascinating day and the perfect gift. We learnt so much and felt really inspired by your enthusiasm.”

WITH THANKS!
I am very grateful to my key sponsor, Cley Spy and the following supporters. They make it possible for me to keep prices for the talk: Wildlife services as low as possible so I can achieve my vision and mission.
